There were plenty of long faces in the hours after Oconto fell short in its effort to secure a second consecutive WIAA Division 3 Championship last week.

But there was also gratitude -not only for being named Runner-Up - but among seniors who recognized the privilege they shared to play together as a team.

Tanner Pillsbury said he was thankful to return to state and experience "all the great feelings" they did in 2013. ...
