Oconto man gets three years incarceration for chase, battery, resisting

An Oconto man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison over a chase with police seeking to arrest him for a violent domestic abuse incident two nights earlier.

Nicholas Lane, 29, was also sentenced by Judge Michael T. Judge to consecutive sentences of nine months jail each for battery for the incident with his girlfriend and another run-in with police three months later that led to bail jumping and resisting charges.

The brief chase ended at Lane's town of Oconto residence on County Highway N, after he entered the driveway and drove around the house. The complaint says Lane got out of his ...
