Morgan Burnett talks before first practice

Third round pick Morgan Burnett met with the media before practice on Friday. On expectations for first season: Right now, Im just trying to learn. Just try to be the best player that I can be. Right now, we are just doing introductions. The basic things. The concept behind the defense. On first impressions of Lambeau Field: That was amazing to me. Just watching in on TV, you could feel the impact of the stadium from the great fans. Seeing it live meant a lot to me. I was excited about that. Its an honor for me to just put on the Green Bay jersey. Growing up and seeing all the history on the NFL Network and see the great players coming through Green Bay, you just have to be honored to have the G on your helmet. On the Packers trading up to draft him: I just have to come in and still show what I can do. Show that it was a good pick. I have to come in here, work hard and train hard. On potentially playing against Brett Favre: Im going to have to hit him and tell stories to my grandkids that I hit Brett Favre.
