The lone touchdown of the quarter came on a 10-yard pass from Rodgers to James Jones that culminated an eight-play, 63-yard scoring march. The Cowboys punted twice and had just 87 total yards of offense through the first three quarters. The only bad play of the quarter for the Packers came on a 15-yard penalty on Nick Collins for a helmet to helmet hit against Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant.
