So much for the speculation that running back James Starks could come in and make an immediate contribution. Starks is on the inactive list today, as is fullback Korey Hall. That leaves the Packers with four backs on their game-day roster: Brandon Jackson, John Kuhn, Dimitri Nance and Quinn Johnson. Starks was elevated to the Packers' 53-man roster after spending all of training camp and the first half of the season on the physically unable to perform list. Johnson is listed as the starting fullback today in place of Hall, who is battling a back injury. Here is the Packers' inactive list today: CB Brandon Underwood FB Korey Hall TE Spencer Havner RB James Starks LB Diyral Diggs C/G Nick McDonald G/T Marshall Newhouse DE Jarius Wynn Minnesota Vikings on the inactive list today: QB Joe Webb WR Hank Baskett CB Lito Shepard RB Albert Young S Eric Frampton LB Erin Henderson G Chris DeGeare DT Fred Evans
