Third-quarter summary: Packers 24, Vikings 3

Whatever comeback plans the Vikings might have harbored at halftime, they were squashed on the Packers' opening drive of the second half. Aaron Rodgers directed a six-play, 73-yard touchdown march to open the third quarter and give the Packers a 24-3 lead. Rodgers ran for one first down on third and 8 to keep the drive alive, then threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings, who beat Asher Allen. Ryan Longwell kicked a 51-yard field goal on the Vikings' ensuing possession but a holding penalty nullified the points and forced the Vikings to punt. The Vikings went three and out on their other third-quarter possession.
