Jennings named NFC offensive player of the week

Packers receiver Greg Jennings has been named NFC offensive player of the week. The fifth-year veteran tied a season-high with seven receptions and set season-highs with 152 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-3 win over the Vikings. The three touchdown receptions were a career-high. Jennings has 46 catches for 703 yards (No. 15 in the NFL) and  9 touchdowns (tied for No. 3). Bears defensive end Julius Peppers was named NFC defensive player of the week. The ninth-year vet had three sacks in a 16-0 win at Miami. It was the eighth three-sack game of his career. Cowboys returner Bryan McCann earned NFC special teams player of the week after returning a punt 97 yards off the bounce for a score in the 35-19 win over the Lions.
