The Falcons scored a touchdown on the second play of the fourth quarter on fourth-and-goal from the 1 when Michael Turner ran off left tackle to give Atlanta a 17-10 lead. After the teams exchanged possessions, the Packers marched 90 yards in 16 plays to score a tying touchdown on a 10-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jordy Nelson on fourth down with 56 seconds remaining. But the Packers' special teams suffered a major breakdown on the ensuing kickoff. Eric Weems returned the kickoff 40 yards, and a face mask penalty on the Packers' Matt Wilhelm set up the Falcons at the Packers' 49 with 49 seconds remaining. Four Matt Ryan completions later, Matt Bryant booted a 47-yard field goal with 9 seconds left to win the game. The Falcons improved to 9-2 while the Packers fell to 7-4.
