Second-quarter summary: Packers 0, Lions 0

Aaron Rodgers took a bit hit from the Lions' Landon Johnson on a scramble and paid the price. He suffered a concussion and was removed from the game late in the first half. Matt Flynn replaced him for the Packers' final series. It was an avoidable injury if Rodgers had decided to slide on the scramble, but instead he attempted to gain an extra 5 to 10 yards and left himself vulnerable to Johnson's big hit. Even with Rodgers in the game for most of the first half, the Packers' offense did next to nothing. The Packers have picked up just two first downs and 68 total yards.
