Drew Henson connected with Will Heller on a 12-yard touchdown pass with 7:55 remaining in the game to lift the Detroit Lions to a 7-3 victory over the Packers at Ford Field. Henson guided the Lions on a 12-play, 80-yard touchdown march for the go-ahead score. The Packers had two chances to retaliate, but as it did for most of the game, the offense fizzled. The Packers were forced to punt, and then when the defense stopped the Lions on three downs, Matt Flynn drove the Packers to the Lions' 32 with under 2 minutes remaining. But on second and 2, a Brandon Jackson draw netted 1 yard. On thired and 1, Flynn overthrew Donald Driver. On fourth and 1, Flynn attempted a pass into the end zone to Greg Jennings but overthrew him. The Packers fell to 8-5 and their playoff hopes suffered a severe blow. The Lions, meanwhile, improved to 3-10.
Final score: Lions 7, Packers 3
