McCarthy mum on Rodgers' status

Mike McCarthy declined to provide any updates on the status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who didn't play on Sunday due to a concussion. McCarthy at his press conference today said Roders is going through the normal medical process following a concussion, and he would know more about Rodgers' status on Wednesday. Other things McCarthy said at his presser: *As a group the offensive line played better than last week. *He hopes Cullen Jenkins can play in the season finale against Chicago. There is a chance OLB Frank Zombo can go this week against the New York Giants. *John Kuhn played his best game against the Patriots.  He thought the running backs ran extremely hard and praised Brandon Jackson as well as Kuhn. *He said the special teams played well except for giving up the costly long kickoff return against 313-pound offensive lineman Dan Connolly. Tackling high was a problem on that play, McCarthy said. *On the final drive the Packers were attempting to take as much time off the clock as they could. He never felt they were pressed for time. He felt Matt Flynn did fine with the operation during that drive. A sack in the final minute threw things out of whack. He didn't find anything chaotic about the final seconds. He felt it was standard operation. There was a delay in spotting the ball before the final play, which caused some uncertainty about whether it was first down or fourth down. *Diyral Briggs sprained his ankle and is questionable. Nick Collins hurt his ribs and is questionable although better than expected.
