The Giants rallied to tie the game at 14-14. First they drove 70 yards in four plays, with Eli Manning hooking up with a wide open Hakeem Nicks on a 36-yard touchdown pass when defender Charles Woodson slipped. Then Manning connected with Mario Manningham on an 85-yard touchdown strike with Tramon Williams in coverage. That left the score deadlocked with 5:13 left in the half. The Packers responded with a six-play, 79-yard touchdown drive, with John Kuhn bulldozing his way into the end zone from 8 yards out with 1:54 left to give the Packers a one-touchdown lead. The Packers blew a prime scoring opportunity when Jordy Nelson fumbled and Justin Tuck recovered at the Giants' 15. It is likely the Packers would have had a 38-yard field goal attempt had Nelson not fumbled. The Packers have 289 total yards compared to 205 for the Giants. In somewhat of a surprise, the Packers have out-rushed the Giants in the first half 73-30. The Giants' highly touted defensive line has been unable to record a sack on Aaron Rodgers in the first half. Rodgers has completed 14 of 23 passes for 216 yards and a 120.9 passer rating. Eli Manning is 8 of 15 for 175 yards and a 106.9 passer rating. Ahmad Bradshaw has rushed 6 times for 23 yards, while Brandon Jacobs has 3 rushes for 7 yards. Brandon Jackson leads the Packers with 10 carries for 26 yards, Dimitri Nance has 4 carries for 16 yards, and Kuhn has 3 carries for 16 yards. Greg Jennings has 5 catches for 82 yards, James Jones has 3 catches for 24 yards, and Jordy Nelson 2 catches for 87 yards. Hakeem Nicks has 3 catches for 66 yards and Manningham 2 catches for 90 yards. The Packers are dominating the time of possession (19:31 to 10:29) and have 15 first downs compared to 7 for the Giants.
