Wednesday practice update

Nickel cornerback Sam Shields dropped out early in practice and had an icepack on his knee, though it's unclear whether the injury is bad enough to jeopardize his availibility for Sunday's game against Chicago. Safety Nick Collins (ribs) and left tackle Chad Clifton (knees) took part only in jog-through. Safety Atari Bigby (groin) and fullback Korey Hall (knee) didn't practice, and already have been declared out for this week. Others who didn't practice were: outside linebacker Frank Zombo (knee), tackle Marshall Newhouse (back) and defensive end Cullen Jenkins (calf).
