Packers hire Dotson nephew as new scout

The Packers have hired the nephew of former defensive lineman Santana Dotson as an area college scout.

Alonzo Dotson, who was a defensive end for Oklahoma University from 2003-07, joined the Packersí scouting staff at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis last week.

After his college career, he worked as an assistant high school football coach in Houston for two years, then was a quality-control assistant for the University of Houstonís football team.
