On the surface, this would appear to be the biggest year of Evan Dietrich-Smith's career.

As a newly anointed starter playing in a contract year and facing a tectonic shift on the Green Bay Packers' offensive line, it stands to reason the 26-year-old center will be playing for his financial future in 2013.

But here's the reality: That's the mentality Dietrich-Smith always has had, viewing this upcoming season as nothing more than a reboot of his four previous NFL campaigns - a game of survival with few guarantees. ...
