For a while this offseason it looked like the Packers would take four quarterbacks into training camp, but now it looks like they’ll have only three.

The team opened another spot on their 90-man roster today by releasing undrafted rookie Matt Brown, who last year finished his college career at Illinois State. The three remaining quarterbacks are Aaron Rodgers, Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman.

The move reduces the Packers’ roster to 86 players with signed contracts, which means they have four spots open with training camp practices set to begin Friday. One of those will go to first-round pick Datone Jones when he signs his rookie contract, which probably will be in the next day or two.
