Matt Flynn struggled mightily against the Detroit Lions last Thursday in a 40-10 loss, and questions about his arm strength persist after the Lions dared him to throw deep and he couldn't successfully pull it off.

Flynn has been bothered by tendinitis in his throwing elbow in the past, but he said in the locker room today that his arm is fine.

"Yeah. I think it is," said Flynn. "You know ... out at practice I feel like it's 100%....I think Iíve kind of gotten the problem this last week of trying and maybe trying to guide the ball a little too much instead of just kind of let it cut loose a little bit, after so many negative plays and things like that, and trying to be too precise with things. Instead of just going out there and playing and cutting loose."

When asked about Flynn's arm strength today, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said: "I mean, as far as some of the throws that Mattís made to point, some of those are anticipation, timing. He had one today, I thought it was an excellent throw. I thought it was an excellent route. Itís really the timing that you establish over the long haul between receiver and quarterback. But as far as his arm strength, I think heís fine. Itís more getting in tune with who heís throwing to, when to throw it, making the protection adjustments, particularly the way defenses have been playing us. I think itís more of that."
