Defensive lineman B.J. Raji's one-year contract with the Green Bay Packers is worth $4 million and includes only $500,000 guaranteed.
According to a source with access to NFL salary information, Raji's guaranteed money was a $500,000 signing bonus. Because his chances of getting cut are nil, he'll likely make all $4 million.
He'll also receive a base salary of $3.1 million, an $18,750-per-game roster bonus that will pay him up to $300,000 and a workout bonus of $100,000.
Raji, who turns 28 in July, is going into his sixth NFL season.
He is one of seven players the Packers have signed this month. The others are cornerback Sam Shields, defensive lineman Julius Peppers, outside linebacker-defensive lineman Mike Neal, defensive lineman Letroy Guion, tight end Andrew Quarless and running back James Starks.
