Practice notes: Wells, Blackmon practice

Per my esteemed colleague Pete Dougherty, center Scott Wells (glute) was back on the practice field this morning, and cornerback/return specialist Will Blackmon (foot) practiced again.

In other words, it appears your Green Bay Packers are about as healthy as possible for Sunday's NFC championship game against the Giants. Coach Mike McCarthy will provide an injury update in a couple of hours, but barring some sort of setback, it seems likely all seven players listed on the injury report will be removed or listed as probable.

Keep the comments coming. Another mailbag will come your way this afternoon.

Packers health ... Giants ailing ... temps falling ...the stars are aligning for a monster Green Bay win on Sunday,

Tom, can we get Bart Starr in uniform with a one-day contract to come on the field at the end to take the "Victory Formation" kneel-down snaps? That would be sweet.

Not asking what you've seen at practice this week but what you would do as Def Cord v. Eli M in the cold. Blitz more? Sit back in coverage and keep the ball in front and make the Giants offensive keep long sustained drives alive if they are going to score?

How about game planning the Giants running game? Run blitz on first and second down (they seemed to run alot on 2nd and long v. Dallas and wind up with 3rd and 3-5 yards).
