KGB undergoes knee surgery
The biggest news of the day came after practice when coach Mike McCarthy revealed that defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila underwent arthroscopic knee surgery today.
McCarthy said KGB has been bothered by knee pain throughout the offseason. The surgery ensures that he will miss the rest of the OTAs and next month's mandatory minicamp.
"He won't be back until training camp," McCarthy said. "(Team physician) Pat McKenzie thought it was best to do (the surgery) now."
