OTAs Week 1: The blitz
Some quick notes from today's OTA practice before coach Mike McCarthy addresses reporters.
* Cornerbacks Charles Woodson and Al Harris were the only veterans absent from practice.
* In addition to the 10 players known to be injured and out for today's OTA, running back Ryan Grant also sat out and worked with the rehab group.
* Allen Barbre, not Daryn Colledge, worked with the first-team offensive line.
* Brady Poppinga, not Brandon Chillar, worked with the first-team defense.
* With Harris and Woodson absent, Tramon Williams and Jarrett Bush were the first-team corners, backed up by rookie Pat Lee.
* Rookies Condrew Allen and Brennen Carvalho were absent because Oregon State still is in session.
* Practice was held indoors at The Don Hutson Center, but fans were allowed in for about an hour.
