Midweek roundup
The final OTA practice is Thursday, beginning at 11:15 a.m. As usual, fans will be permitted to watch for an hour or so inside The Don Hutson Center. Same goes for three of the five practices at the mandatory minicamp next Tuesday through Thursday. Each of those begins at 10:15 a.m.
In an otherwise slow week, here are a few quick hits ...
* According to a source with access to the NFL's internal transactions wire, San Francisco has signed OT Joe Toledo, who the Packers cut last week.
* Also according the wire, the Chiefs have waived ex-UW standout Luke Swan.
* Brett Favre says of Michael Strahan's retirement: "Tremendous player, good friend. I hate to see him go. He went out with a ring. Pretty awesome."
