Favre on the sidelines in Cleveland
CLEVELAND -- For those wondering what Brett Favre is doing at the New York Jets' preseason opener against the Cleveland Browns, here's the scene:
He's not in uniform, although he did pose for pictures holding a No. 4 Jets' jersey.
He's wearing Jets' warm-up clothes and is on the sideline, standing near the offensive coaches. He's holding a play card and appears to have an earpiece in so he can the play calls. When the Jets are on defense, he has been huddling with the quarterbacks near the bench.
The game has resumed after a 60-minute rain delay that began with 4:11 left in the first quarter.
