Practice wrap-up

Practice? We're talking about practice?

Might as well, even if it was largely an afterthought once again.

* In team (11-on-11) drills, Aaron Rodgers finished 11-for-19 with two interceptions, plus another interception in 7-on-7. His mistakes were greeted by cheers from a relatively small, but vocal group of fans who also were leading the "Bring back Favre" cheers. Rodgers' good plays also were cheered, and he had his share -- including a fade to James Jones that Jones made a great play to pull in and bullet through a small hole to Greg Jennings. Both catches were in the end zone.

* Donald Driver and Greg Jennings tried to placate the crowd by mugging after every catch during individual drills.

* Second-string QB Brian Brohm also had a rough day, going 3-for-10. Matt Flynn was 2-for-4.

* Rookie TEs Jermichael Finley and Evan Moore were pulled after separate false starts during the opening game situations period. Moore also fell flat on his face during another drill.

* With C Scott Wells (back) continuing to sit out, Jason Spitz spent the whole day in his place with Josh Sitton in Spitz's usual spot at right guard.

* Tramon Williams has reassumed his spot as the No. 3 cornerback. He wasn't in that role during Sunday's scrimmage after missing extended action because of a hip flexor injury. He said he feels OK but can work through the discomfort.

* Dropping 'em like they're hot: Ruvell Martin, Johnny Quinn.

Two sessions on Wednesday -- shellsat 8:45 a.m., pads at 6:30 p.m. Back with updates throughout.

Cheering when your starting QB makes a mistake? Real mature.

What a friggin joke.

Shut your mouth and get on the bandwagon, right? Rodgers has to earn the fan's respect, even if he doesn't have to earn a starting job. He's done nothing so far to warrant my full support. I'll be glad if Rodgers does well as anyone else, but some of the fans haven't thrown Favre out with the trash, and are a little hurt by all of this. Only natural for some people to resent Rodgers. If he's any good people will come around, if he isn't he'll be a footnote.

How sad that this NFL legend demonstrated such selfishness at the end of a brilliant career. Brett is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but also demonstrates immaturity as a man
