Pregame notes: Harrell active
Defensive tackle Justin Harrell will play on his sprained knee, while receiver Ruvell Martin is a surprise inactive for today's game against the Bears.
Also, right end Jeremy Thompson will miss the game because of the groin injury he sustained last week.
Martin wasn't on the injury report this week, so it appears he's a healthy scratch, with the Packers choosing to go with only four receivers.
The rest of the Packers' inactives are: No. 3 QB Brian Brohm, CB Pat Lee, RB DeShawn Wynn, LB Nick Barnett, T Breno Giacomini and G Allen Barbre.
Inactive for the Bears are: No. 3 QB Caleb Hanie, CB Marcus Hamilton, RB Kevin Jones, T Fred Miller, DT Matt Toeaina, WR Earl Bennett, DT Anthony Adams and DE Ervin Baldwin.
The only starting lineup change is Nick Roach at strong-side linebacker in place of Hunter Hillenmeyer. As expected, A.J. Hawk is listed as the No. 1 middle linebacker on the Packers' depth chart.
8:51 a.m.: It's a clear, cool morning here in Green Bay, where the Packers and Bears will kick off at noon.
According to weather.com, there's a 40 percent chance of snow during the game. I'm no meteorologist, but with an estimated accumulation of less than 1 inch and temperatures in the low 30s, it doesn't seem like weather will be a major factor. If it is, though, one would think that would favor the Bears, who are superior running the football and stopping the run.
Back around 11 a.m. with the inactive lists.
