The last time Clay Matthews missed significant time because of an injury in the regular season, things went badly for the Green Bay Packers.
It came in Week 5 of the 2010 season, when late in the third quarter against the Washington Redskins, Matthews injured his hamstring and didn't return. The Packers led by 10 points when Matthews left but lost in overtime.
Matthews then missed the next game against Miami, and the Packers lost at Lambeau Field to a Dolphins team that started Chad Henne at quarterback and that finished the season 7-9. ...
