Merv Pregulman, who was the Green Bay Packers' No. 1 pick in the 1944 NFL draft, has died. He was 90.
An all-America tackle and center at the University of Michigan, he served in the Navy during World War II and didn't join the Packers until 1946. That year, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Pregulman played in 11 games, starting seven at guard. He wore No. 17 for the Packers.
