When we last heard from Packers general manager Ted Thompson, the Packers still had their two seventh-round compensatory selections to make on Saturday. Thompson wanted to take care of his media obligations before making those two picks, so he could dive right into the undrafted free agent frenzy that immediately follows the draft.
