    Video released of Lions president's arrest, Goodell on the spot

    The Roscommon County sheriff department released video of Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving to the Detroit Free Press on Monday. The 20-minute tape shows Lewand denying he had a drink that night, being put through a variety of sobriety tests, refusing to take a breath test and the eventual arrest.  A breath test was given at the sheriff's office and Lewand registered a  .21 and .

    NFL commissioner Roger Goodell spoke to the media after addressing the players at the Rookie Symposium yesterday. Funny (well, maybe not funny) thing is that very little of the press conference dealt with the rookies. Obviously, the collective bargaining agreement was a major topic.

    Atari Bigby resurfaces on Twitter

    Packers safety Atari Bigby has been the missing man as far as the media and public are concerned. He still hasn't signed his tendered offer, didn't attend OTAs or the mandatory minicamp. His agent Drew Rosenhaus hasn't returned several phone calls and Bigby just seems to be playing this thing out with training camp starting July 31.

    Philbin: Common sense can go a long way

ESPN reported that Smith had surgery to insert pins and a plate in his arm, but should return sometime during the preseason.
