Teams seeking second-and-short against San Francisco might do better prospecting for gold.
Early on, the Packers-Vikings matchup at Lambeau Field resembled the more recent playoff games that have taken place there, those in which Green Bay has lost more often than it has won.
Always a handful, the Vikings become more troublesome when one of their own rushes for 100 yards or compiles a passer rating of 100. When a pair of players does both in the same game, Minnesota becomes darn near unbeatable.
