Packers and Microsoft form business accelerator partnership for Titletown District.
ASHWAUBENON – U.S. Bank is preparing to move to its news site on Lombardi Avenue.
Green Bay Market President Terri Trantow said in a television interview that the branch at 1161 Lombardi Access Road will close Jan. 26. The bank will reopen in a temporary office at Argonne Street and Lombardi Avenue on Jan. 29.
The site is the former River City Realtors property, one-half mile west of the current location and across the street from Cabela's. The Packers bought the 2.4-acre property in 2012 and razed the buildings there last year.
U.S. Bank's building at 1161 Lombardi Access Road is the lone remaining business on 45 acres west of Lambeau Field that the Packers bought for development of the Titletown District. The district is a commercial, residential and recreational development. Lodge Kohler hotel, Hinterland Brewery and Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine & Orthopedics are open, and TitletownTech, a partnership between the Packers and Microsoft, was announced in October for a fall 2018 opening.
The Titletown District's 10-acre park and plaza opened in September. A snow-tubing hill and ice skating pond will be activated later in November.
The bank's current site is in a part of the Titletown District that would be considered Phase 2 of the development. Phase 2 could include office and retail buildings as well as about 70 townhouses and an apartment building on the south side of the development along Brookwood Drive in Ashwaubenon.
