The Green Bay Packers spent the offseason bringing in new pieces and making enhancements that put them in position to do some special things in 2016.

We here at USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin have done the same.

As the Packers prepare for their first training camp practice of the season Tuesday, we’re excited to officially welcome the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s reporting team into the family. The Green Bay Press-Gazette's reporters have joined forces with the Journal Sentinel's to offer greatly expanded coverage of one of the NFL’s most iconic franchises.

Now, in addition to reading Press-Gazette columnist Pete Dougherty, Packers reporter Ryan Wood and Packers business reporter Richard Ryman, you also can enjoy the contributions of Journal Sentinel columnist Bob McGinn, reporters Tom Silverstein and Michael Cohen and more.

McGinn is a six-time Wisconsin sportswriter of the year and a member of the writers’ wing of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Silverstein has covered the Packers since 1989 and is a two-time Wisconsin sportswriter of the year. And Cohen has won multiple national writing awards for his enterprise reporting.

So now, more than ever, PackersNews.com is the place to go for all the breaking news, stories, photos, videos, podcasts, live chats and more during the Packers’ quest to reach Super Bowl LI in Houston in February.

Our training camp coverage begins Tuesday when the Packers conduct their first practice at 8:15 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field.  They also will practice at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and (after a Friday off day) again Saturday. On Sunday, the Packers will hold their Family Night practice at 6:15 p.m. at Lambeau Field.

All tickets are sold for Family Night. Admission is free to all other practices, which are open to fans (weather permitting).
