Gov. Scott Walker told more than 30 employees this afternoon at a Weston business that Wisconsin can and should be on the forefront of the mining industry in the U.S.

Walker visited L & S Electric in Weston as part of three stops today in Wisconsin to discuss plans to create mining legislation that leads to mining-related jobs in the state. Walker this morning also visited Valley Plating and Fabricating in Green Bay and planned this afternoon to be at Phoenix Products Co. in Milwaukee.
