? At 7:29 a.m. Wednesday, an anonymous caller reported a man with a loud muffler on his vehicle wakes everyone up at 7 a.m. each day in the 1100 block of 16th Street North. The caller asked officers to patrol the area and ask the man to get his muffler fixed.

? At 9:09 a.m. Wednesday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported the theft of a credit card from the 2600 block of Fifth Street South.

? At 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported a motor vehicle theft, but the man had given permission to the person to drive the vehicle.

? At 11:16 a.m. Wednesday, officers arrested a man at the Department of Corrections, 131 24th St. S.

? At 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a person shooting squirrels and cats to protect birds in the 100 block of 16th Avenue South.

? At 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported people living in a residence without heat or water. The water was cut off, but not the heat. Officers told a man and woman they couldn't live there until the water is turned back on.

? At 4:04 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a man followed a woman into her driveway and was harassing her.

? At 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers arrested a man after responding to a domestic abuse incident.

? At 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers arrested a man on a warrant near the intersection of 18th Avenue South and Wickham Avenue.
