Entrance fee waived for park's candlelight walk

The Friends of Whitefish Dunes State Park invite everyone to join in the annual candlelight event on Jan. 26. Separate trails will be available for hikers and skiers. More than two miles of paths will be lit by luminaries. Leave pet at home; they will not be allowed on the trails or in the shelter building. Come in from the cold and enjoy the warming shelter with its fireplace, hot beverages and popcorn.

The park entrance fee will be waived during the event, which runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Whitefish Dunes ...
