Updated: Man in critical condition after rifle range shooting

A male was flown to Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday after his father accidentally shot him in the back at the Wood County Rifle Range, Wood County Sheriff's Sgt. Matt Susa said.

A 25-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man remains in critical condition at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield after what authorities called an accidental shooting Saturday afternoon at the Wood County Rifle Range.
