Update: Nekoosa woman in fair condition after semi-car crash

A 57-year-old Nekoosa woman remains in fair condition at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield after authorities say the car she was in collided with a semi Friday evening.

At 6:10 p.m. Friday, a car and a semi collided on Highway 54 West, about one-quarter mile west of Port Road, when the semi driver was backing the trailer into a parking lot off of the highway, according to a Wood County Sheriff's Department news release.
