GREEN BAY - Kaitlyn Collins, a former cheerleader at Green Bay Packers games, is fighting back against Chicago Bears fans who taunted her on Facebook.

Early Monday evening, the Chicago Bears Fan page on Facebook posted a photo of Collins with this note: "Like If You Agree The Packers Have The Worst Cheerleaders In The NFL!"

When Collins learned of the post, she wrote on Facebook: "Wow. Being bullied via Facebook. I may not look like a super model, but to call me ugly ?"

Collins created a YouTube video in which she silently held up signs explaining the situation and asked for help in getting the photo taken down. She also urged viewers to fight cyberbullying.

Her photo was removed from the Chicago Bears Fan page at mid-afternoon Thursday. A new post read: "The picture of the Green Bay Cheerleader has been removed. For everyone on this page. We do not condone or encourage bullying. We would like to ask that you keep it classy. We understand you are hard core fans, but there's no need for bullying. We apologize for any hard feelings and encourage everyone to keep this page as a fun experience."

On Wednesday, Collins wrote on Facebook: "So blessed to have such wonderful friends and family standing behind me and backing me up. No matter how strong and confident a person can appear, we are still human and negativity does affect us. We can stay strong and stand tall or we can crumble. I am choosing to stand against these bullies."

Collins, who lives in Eagle River, cheered for the Packers in 2009, when she was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She last attended UWGB in the spring of 2010, according to university records.

The Packers use cheerleaders from UWGB and St. Norbert College on the sidelines at their games.
