? At 7:49 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious man in the area of Howe Elementary School, 221 Eighth St. N. The man was a newspaper carrier.

? At 8:12 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a man hitchhiking near the intersection of Second and Gaynor avenues. He was too close to traffic and was almost hit by a vehicle.

? At 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported someone damaged a machine at Rainbow Coin Laundry, 1930 Wylie St.

? At 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a hit-and-run crash in the 4300 block of Eighth Street South.

? At 12:57 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a car hit a snowbank in the median near the intersection of Eighth Street and Airport Avenue.

? At 1:56 p.m. Tuesday, an officer arrested a man on a warrant in the 200 block of 10th Avenue North.

? At 3:19 p.m. Tuesday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported drug use in one of his rental units.

? At 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, an officer investigated a possible drug sale at Lincoln High School, 1801 16th St. S.

? At 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, a residential care facility employee reported being verbally assaulted by a patient's boyfriend.

? At 9:01 a.m. Tuesday, a Grand Rapids officer investigated a report of inappropriate touching on a school bus going to River Cities High School, 2390 48th St. S.

? At 12:01 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a vehicle in the ditch near the intersection of 31st Street and Airport Avenue, Grand Rapids.

? At 12:03 p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a man in Port Edwards after a domestic abuse incident.

? At 3:39 p.m. Tuesday, a Rudolph woman reported an identity theft. Someone had filed a tax return in the woman's name, and she received a letter from the federal government.

? At 4:49 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported two men on a ladder doing something with the wires in Grand Rapids. The men were Solarus employees working with cable wires.

? At 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a traffic crash in the 900 block of Market Street, Nekoosa.

? At 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, a Vesper woman reported someone impersonated her on Facebook and offered her truck and trailer for sale.

? At 1:54 a.m. Wednesday, a Grand Rapids woman reported a domestic abuse during which a man smacked her in the head and stole her vehicle. Officers arrested the man on charges of drunken driving, taking and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent and battery as a domestic abuse incident.
