New Chester to get nearly $240,000 for road work related to dairy expansion

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will give the Adams County town of New Chester a $237,800 grant to reconstruct Fifth Avenue, which will provide improved direct access to an expanding large-scale dairy operation there, Gov. Scott Walker announced today.

The Transportation Economic Assistance, or TEA, grant will lead to the retention and creation of 57 jobs at the New Chester Dairy and support another 29 indirect jobs, ...
