Man held after fire at Green Bay store

A fire at Dollar Land, 1020 N. Irwin Ave., was set intentionally on Tuesday night, Green Bay fire officials say.

Battalion Chief Robert Wiegert said a man walked into the northeast-side store, threw a liquid substance on the counter and ignited it with a match near the cash register at about 7:11 p.m.

There was no known altercation between the man and the store's employee, the only people in the store at the time of the incident, Lt. Pat Childs said. ...
