Fox Cities bike challenge warming up as snow melts

Fox Valley cyclists have their eyes on the top prize in a national competition that measures miles traveled in metro areas.

The Fox Cities Bike Challenge is holding a private kickoff luncheon this week at Kimberly-Clark Corp. to build anticipation for the event that begins May 1.

"We're in the national 'warm-up' period right now," said Rob Gusky, president of the Fox Cities Cycling Association. "It's time for people to sign up, get organized into teams and practice getting those miles logged." ...
