Friday's police log: Man steals money to keep girlfriend

? At 2:43 p.m. Thursday, an employee at AmericInn, 3010 Eighth St. S., reported someone stole an employee's wallet. The wallet was later found without its money at a service station.

? At 2:59 p.m. Thursday, officers arrested a person after a domestic abuse incident.

? At 3:38 p.m. Thursday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported multiple charges occurring on his credit card after he made a single purchase online.

? At 5:43 p.m. Thursday, a woman reported a man was pounding on her door and threatening to kill her and her roommates.

? At 6:50 p.m. Thursday, a Wisconsin Rapids man requested an officer get his brother to leave his residence. The brother left on his own, but officers arrested the caller on an outstanding warrant.

? At 7:31 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported someone broke into a residence in the 2600 block of 12th Street South. Glass was broken, but no one got inside.

? At 2:18 a.m. Thursday, an officer found a man passed out in a vehicle in the 2600 block of Eighth Street South. The man walked home.

? At 2:26 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a man kicked her door and was refusing to leave. Officers arrested the man.

? At 3:14 a.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported someone attempting to drive through snow piles in the 400 block of Taylor Avenue.

? At 9:24 a.m. Thursday, a staff member at Vesper Community Academy, 6443 Virginia St., Vesper, reported finding a flash drive with inappropriate pictures on it.

? At 10:48 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a traffic crashing the 900 block of Third Street, Nekoosa.

? At 12:06 p.m. Thursday, a Saratoga woman reported her boyfriend was threatening to "make her life a living hell." He crashed her car and she is suing him in small claims court.

? At 3:14 p.m. Thursday, a Grand Rapids woman reported someone stole money orders from the 4400 block of 20th Street South, Grand Rapids.

? At 4:08 p.m. Thursday, a Nekoosa woman reported a man stole $600 from her and said she couldn't have it back until he got out of jail because he didn't want her to leave him while he was incarcerated.

? At 10:35 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a vehicle in the ditch near the intersection of Highways G and 173, Port Edwards.
