Former Packers to visit Arkdale campground

Gilbert Brown and Dorsey Levens, former players for the Green Bay Packers, will visit Pineland Camping Park, 916 Highway 13, Arkdale, on May 4, said Michele Mathiesen, reservation specialist at the park, in a news release.

All proceeds will benefit The Gilbert Brown Foundation, including his new Anti-Bullying program. Football camp for children between the ages of 6 and 18 will begin at 10 a.m. Participants will learn football fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship. A dart tournament will start at 1 p.m., with a limit of 32, two-person teams.
