Eagle river report:

The snow persists in the Eagle River area, with another 2 to 4 inches falling this week. This has aided hunters in finding wild turkeys. The base is made of crusty snow - -which means turkeys can walk on top of it and leave clear tracks in the fresh snow. Consider skiing or snowshoeing through the woods on trails and logging roads to find tracks and other turkey sign.
