Jim Buchholz, park superintendent of Kohler-Andrae State Park, is retiring from state service on April 19, 2013, after more than 36 years of service to the State of Wisconsin.

Buchholz began working for the state in 1972 as a seasonal wildlife management assistant at the Department of Natural Resources' Plymouth Service Center in Sheboygan County. He later worked as park ranger at Hartman Creek State Park in Waupaca County, while completing his college degree in Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point.
