Top students and their teachers honored for achievements

The top seniors from 13 Marathon County high schools - and the teachers influential in their success - were lauded for their accomplishments Wednesday night.

The 30 valedictorians and salutatorians of the schools and their teachers were invited to the Honoring Excellence in Education, a banquet at Memories Ballroom in Marathon. The celebration, a north central Wisconsin spring tradition since 2002, was organized by principals of the high schools.
