Man dies in northern Adams County semi-pedestrian crash

A 26-year-old Adams man died Thursday when a semitrailer hit him along Third Avenue, authorities said.

At 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Robert Losey was working around a truck when another employee, Neil Denniston, 69, Wisconsin Rapids, was backing a semitrailer up to a nearby building, in the 100 block of Third Avenue South, Leola, according to a news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Department.
