Friday's police log: Caller complains about chickens

Wisconsin Rapids

? At 9:44 a.m. Thursday, an employee at Becker Vision Center, 2411 Third St. S., reported someone stole a pair of glasses.

? At 2:10 p.m. Thursday, a humane officer reported receiving complaints of chickens kept in a garage in the 500 block of 12th Street South.

? At 4:52 p.m. Thursday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone stole prescription medications from the 900 block of Chase Street.

? At 9:46 p.m. Thursday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported her former boyfriend sprayed hairspray in her eyes and trashed her bathroom. Officers arrested the former boyfriend.

? At 2:08 a.m. Thursday, officers used a stun gun and took a woman into custody after the woman fled during a traffic stop near the intersection of Eighth Street South and Airport Avenue.

Wood County

? At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, a Saratoga man reported someone stole items from his home in the 500 block of Highway 73 South, Saratoga.

? At 11:13 a.m. Thursday, a Grand Rapids man reported someone stole items from the 2900 block of Brandwood Drive, Grand Rapids.

? At 1:50 p.m. Thursday, an Arpin man reported someone took out a credit card in his name and purchased a computer.

? At 5:20 p.m. Thursday, a Grand Rapids officer arrested a man after his estranged wife reported he wrote threatening letters, which was against the terms of a restraining order.

? At 7:55 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a woman walking in a traffic lane in the 4000 block of Plover Road, Grand Rapids.
