DNR: Hunters cautioned after wolves depredate bear hounds

After two recent wolf depredations, hunters are reminded to exercise caution during this year's bear training season if they plan to train or hunt bear with hounds. The two hounds were depredated while participating in bear training activities in Forest and Florence counties.

Hunters should refer to the caution area maps found on the DNR website. Search wolf depradation at dnr.wi.gov.
